Cognition, Clinic and Behavior

Why do people harm themselves and harm others? My research focuses on suicidal and addictive behaviors, as well as stigma, dehumanization, and violence, which I investigate from cognitive, social, and clinical perspectives. More recently, I have also been developing a new approach to suicide risk assessment combining spontaneous language analysis, theoretical modeling, implicit cognition, and artificial intelligence.
