Research Interests

  • Power, performance and social perception: we study the influence of power on self- and other- evaluation, on self- and other- description and on explanation of one’s own and other’s performances (Jouffre, 2015 ; Jouffre & Croizet, 2016)
  • Patient-physician relationship: research deals with breaking bad news (Albarracin & Jouffre, 2014), and factors influencing whether patient’s directives are taken into account by medical staff (Jouffre, Ghazal, Robert, Reignier & Albarracin, 2018)
  • Social distance and bodily self-other overlap: we investigate the bidirectional influence between social closeness and bodily self-other overlap through tasks measuring (Joint Simon Task, Automatic imitation task) or manipulating (Interpersonal Multisensory Stimulation) bodily overlap (Quintard, Jouffre, Croizet & Bouquet, 2018)
